Our flexibility with design and genres leaves the door wide open for creativity and style. Creating spaces that are a reflection of the people who live there, not the designer who came through. Furnishings should be comfortable and durable to serve the purpose of providing style and function. Our full-service design is driven by our on-site presence, organization, and communication. We are with you at every step of the way, overseeing the design process from conception to execution.
OUR PROCESS
Step 1: Discovery Call: Our goal here is to gather a basic understanding of your project and what you are looking for. If we are a good fit for your project we will move forward to schedule our initial design meeting.
Step 2: Initial Design Meeting: This is the fun part. As we walk and measure each room we want to hear from you. What do you want this room to look like, what works and what doesn’t? We will go over our design process with you and answer any questions.
Step 3: Proposal Meeting: Our team will put together a proposal based on your scope of work and present the proposal during this meeting. Once that is done, we can move on to more fun things like the Design Questionnaire. Getting a chance to dive into you and your home, and hear how you want to use each space. Show us your favorite things and what needs to be included and what needs to go. We review your inspiration boards to get a feel for your style and taste.
Step 4: Conceptual Design Phase: This is where we start making your visions a reality. We will assess the project scope, and take measurements, and photos. Design the ideal floor plan, create inspiration boards, make initial selections, and confirm design direction. Meet with all required trades and get an investment amount. Once our team has completed we will present to you during our conceptual design phase meeting.
Step 5: Detailed Design Phase: It is time to get down to the nitty-gritty. The team will select each item, get quotes from trades and vendors, finalize floor plans, draw relevant elevations, and confirm the investment amount.
Step 6: Purchasing and Execution: We begin purchasing products on your behalf, assessing timelines, and putting together the construction timeline.
Step 7: Construction: When the dust starts flying, we communicate and coordinate with trades and vendors. We have regular site meetings and are onsite for deliveries and installations as needed. There will be surprises, and we will help maneuver these obstacles with our team of experts.
Step 8: Installation: This is where the vision starts coming to life. Whether it is cabinets, tile, lighting or flooring, our team will be communicating and coordinating with the trades and on-site when needed.
Step 9: Furniture Installation and Styling: We will receive, assemble and white glove deliver all purchased furniture and accessories and install them with our team of designers to complete the vision.
Step 10: The Reveal: Our team will provide documentation supporting your care and maintenance of your completed project, identify deficiencies, and create a punch list. Return any items where applicable and professionally photograph the project when needed.
